The La Raza Youth Leadership Institute Board of Directors would like to thank the Liaisons and organizations that participated in the 2009 conference. Through your involvement, our conference continues to be a success. We understand Liaisons work very hard in assisting students to participate in this conference and look forward to seeing you in April. With the conference just around the corner we hope that we can continue our collaboration and enhance the development of our Raza youth. The conference has been able to provide thousands of Chicano/a, Latino/a, Mexicano/a students a one-day conference filled with workshops on Leadership, Careers, Self-Esteem, and Cultural Awareness. Cost: $15 per student (priority registration)
Online registration for the 2009 conference will be available beginning February 1, 2009, at www.larazayouth.com. There is an option for students to register individually for the conference.
To guarantee seating at the conference, early registration must be postmarked by April 10, 2009. There is a non-refundable $15 registration fee for youth and adults that register prior to April 10th. After April 10th late registration will be accepted, based on availability. All late registrations will have an increased non-refundable fee of $25per student/liaison. For every ten paid students attending the conference, one school liaison can attend for free. Any additional liaisons attending the conference must pay the early or late registration fee. The registration fee includes a light breakfast, lunch and a conference T-shirt. Please make checks and money orders payable to La Raza Youth Leadership Conference. All checks and money orders must be postmarked by March 30, 2009, to secure registration. Registration payments may also be submitted via credit card on the La Raza Youth website.

The La Raza Youth Leadership Conference is proud to help those who will be spending the night in Denver prior to the Conference. The Registration committee has arranged a set of rooms that have been blocked off for conference attendees at a special reduced rate. All hotel reservations must be made by the school liaison or chaperone. You must mention the booking # to be guaranteed the conference rate. Studio rooms include 2 full beds and a fold out couch, free local calls, free coffee and tea in room and a Grab-n-Go breakfast. There is also a shuttle available to and from the campus if needed.

All hotel reservations must be made by the school liaison or chaperone. You must mention the booking code to be guaranteed the conference rate. Studio rooms include a queen size bed and a full size sofa sleeper, free local calls, free coffee and tea in room and a Grab-n-Go breakfast. There is also a shuttle available to and from the campus if needed.
